Our history

Our founder, Sebastian Zippel, a general practitioner, set up TAOM with the aim of creating a practice that focuses on people. With his broad experience in general internal medicine, sports medicine and emergency medicine, he forms the heart of our practice. Mr. Zippel, who has extensive and diverse experience in general internal medicine, sports medicine and emergency medicine, dreamed of creating an environment where advanced medical technologies and personal care go hand in hand. He wanted to design a place where every treatment is tailored to the unique needs of each individual, while promoting holistic health and wellness. With TAOM, Mr. Zippel realized this vision and created a practice that is now the heart of the community, an oasis of healing where patients are not only healed, but also heard, understood and respected.

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment via the customer portal of our online booking system. If you need to cancel your appointment and have already made a payment, please contact us via the customer portal to discuss the next steps.

How can I cancel an appointment?

Can I come to the consultation without an appointment?

We recommend booking appointments in advance to minimize waiting times. In emergencies, we are of course there for you.

Do I need a referral to see a specialist?

Yes, for most specialists you will need a referral from your GP.

Can I view my patient file?

Of course, you have the right to view your patient file at any time. Just get in touch with us.

Do I have the coronavirus?

If you have symptoms such as fever, cough or breathing difficulties, please contact us immediately by phone.

What should I do if I think I have the coronavirus?

Please stay at home and contact us by phone. We will take the necessary steps.

How can I protect myself from the coronavirus?

Washing your hands regularly, keeping your distance and wearing a mask are effective measures.

How long are the waiting times at the practice?

We make every effort to keep waiting times as short as possible. You can plan your visit optimally by booking your appointment online.

Can you send me my prescription by post?

In our practice, we rely on modern and environmentally friendly solutions. Therefore, we do not offer prescriptions in paper form. Instead, you will receive your prescription conveniently and securely either by email or directly from our patient-oriented care system. This digital approach not only enables us to respond more quickly to your needs, but also supports our joint contribution to environmental protection. We thank you for your understanding and flexibility in breaking new ground with us.

In which order are patients called in the waiting room?

In our practice, we use the innovative “PauL” system for contactless and efficient patient calling. This allows us to control the audiovisual call directly via our screen in the waiting room, which also shows our practice TV with various information.

How does PauL work?

As soon as a patient is called, for example for a blood sample to be taken in the laboratory, we start the call via the day list. The patient’s name then appears on the screen and the patient can go to the relevant area of the practice independently. This process reduces direct contact and saves valuable time for everyone involved.

Patients are called in the order they appear on our daily list, based on their appointment times and the specific reason for their visit. This system ensures that our practice runs smoothly and efficiently, while ensuring the well-being and safety of our patients.

Do I need to come in fasting for a blood test for the lab?

Yes, you should come in fasting for most blood tests.

I am unable to work, what now?

Please make an appointment so that we can issue a certificate of incapacity for work.

Why can't I reach the practice by phone?

We understand that it is important to respond to your concerns quickly and efficiently. In order to make the workflow in our practice as efficient as possible and to minimize waiting times for our patients, we have decided to reduce telephone contact. This helps us to spread the workload and ensure a high quality of patient care.

We offer you the following alternatives for questions and concerns:
– E-mail contact: Please send your questions to our practice by e-mail. We endeavor to process all inquiries as quickly as possible.
– Brief consultation: If you would like a personal consultation, you have the option of booking a brief consultation appointment with our secretary. She will be available to clarify your questions.
